Busy week this week. Digging my way further into Equine Photography. Lesson learnt: Gear matters, but… to start in this area of photography it doesn’t have to be top of the list. I bought the cheapest “training” lens ever. The Fujinon XC 50-230 consumer zoom. It even comes with image stabilization. It has a price tag of 249 €. When it comes to low light conditions I have to increase the ISO beyond 800 / 1600. This is not ideal. But if the sun shines and the light is OK it delivers quite good results. At least for a start. Image 1,3 and 4 are unedited files, image 2 has been edited to eliminate some dirt spots in the face. Enjoy the weekend. Forecast of sunshine on Sunday in my area. 🙂
Wow these are beautiful .. I adore horses, they are such majestic animals. Wish I could reach in and pat them .. 😃
I think they would love that too…:-) Thanks, Julie!
i get strong feeling of wanting to be with horses….they are so amazing.
They are. I start to realize that too. Thanks, Gavin!
Majesty is captured, Reinhold! They are talking with their beautiful eyes. 🙂
The forth one is fascinating. 🙂 I just love how you capture horses.
Thank you, Amy. I start to like it too. I am only wondering if you could be really good in this area without riding horses. We will see. Reinhold
You have proved it, Reinhold! 🙂
Superb , as always…
Thank you so much!
