If you like to take an unusual bath in the moors of the North you are invited to visit the Dänikhorster Moor. And… you can enjoy a stunning sunset at the same time. But hurry up, there is a long waiting list for this place. 🙂

Beautiful but I think I will pass on adding my name to that waiting list. 😀
Thank you, Irene. Would have been nice to have you here but thank you for stopping by and your comment. Smiles. Reinhold
Very simple object, simple impression… but you made it into a masterpiece! Really great! I like the sharp impression… is it because of your camera or because you sharpen it in LR or…? And at the same time it’s some kind of creamy …
By the way the light is fantastic and is if the whole scene has been waiting for you to take the photo… great!
Thank you so much! I think it could be a result of my workflow. The Fuji X-T1 produces sharp images. Sharper than my Nikon D800. I always use a tripod (main reason) and either a cable release or the camera timer to release the shutter. There is often a blur if you take the shot handheld. Or you lower the aperture to increase the shutter speed which decreases your depth of field. I usually sharpen landscape images in Lightroom. Amount 80 / Masking 80. The Masking sharpens the edges only. Areas like the sky are not sharpened. The creamy factor is a filter to apply a vignette. Color FX of the NIK Collection (Free). The filter is called “Darken/Lighten Center”. I have created some presets for that and all of this is nearly done with a few clicks. If I really want to post process an image I use Photoshop. But this could take from minutes to hours. But I think the main reason is to be there at the right time. This image would not work during day time. I still want to capture this one in fog with a real model. Idea: bring some light, some furniture, may be candles, a bottle of wine, glasses….and water. 🙂 Should be fun. Happy Days. Reinhold
Really interesting to read so much informations about your workflow! Thank you! It sounds as if it really is very easy but that only shows that you are very professional;-)… Your idea with a model sounds good, I really can imagine! You just need fog and at the same time a model… good luck;-)!
😃
You can call this UNUSUAL, at every respect…!
Fantastic Photo!
Thank you. If you think this is unusual, at any respect… the foggy season starts in October. And a model will…. 🙂 Happy Days. Reinhold
Wouldn’t that be amazing? My horses would frown if I tried to climb into their water trough.
Your horses will frown when my model is climbing into the water trough in October, when the foggy season starts. 🙂 Thank you for stopping by and your lovely comment. Happy days and smiles. Reinhold
