During my workshops and tours we also touch pano shoots. Obviously not an easy exercise. We often have trees and bushes in our composition and the ground is pretty unstable, often wet and muddy. I have created a series of “5” (tips) cards (also for my own memory) which I carry with me and which I handout to the members of my party. May be they could be useful for you as well. Best printed in 4×6” format using your local printer and stored in your camera bag. Happy days. Reinhold

because you have the camera in manual, then it seems to me that you are suggesting that one adjust each frame as a mean to create continuity?
… Hi Brenda, I mean the opposite. Setting the camera to manual, forces the camera to use the same aperture, shutter speed, white balance and focus point to create continuity. Otherwise each image looks slightly different which will be visible in the combined pano image. It is so much easier than it sounds. The difficult part is to level the tripod with the horizon line at uneven ground. Hope that answers your question. Try it. It is easy after a while. Happy days. Reinhold
Thank you very much for that clarification.
I love that first image, the mono one
One of my fav too, Sue. Hangs on one wall of my living room actually. Happy days. Reinhold
Have a good weekend, Reinhold!
