Found this one in our garden today. Couldn’t easily find a composition that worked. Hope you like this closeup. Happy days. Reinhold
Variations of an autumn leave. Happy days and happy Eastern. Reinhold
Fokus stacking… I shot 6 images of this object and changed the focus point for each shot, adjusting and fine tuning the focus for the selected area. I then imported these images via Lightroom into Photoshop where I did the alignment and blending of these images. After saving and returning to Lightroom I made some minor color adjustments to the final image and created a vignette to frame the center. I think this technique is essential for certain compositions… this one isn’t perfect, but I will keep trying.
Happy days. Reinhold
Variations of an object. Rather than posting 4 different objects I decided to stick to one object for today. I captured 4 close-ups. Tomorrow I will use a similar approach, but will use “photo stacking”.
Focus stacking is a digital image processing technique which combines multiple images taken at different focus distances to give a resulting image with a greater depth of field (DOF) than any of the individual source images. Wikipedia
