… if you want to be different.
This morning I was hiking to a nearby forest. It is a 30 minutes walk to the woodlands. I carried my gear and a tripod. The first 15 minutes were a bit stiff. But after that I really enjoyed another morning out in the woodlands. For me woodland photography is one of the hardest areas to master. I definitely need more practice to deal with the contrast of light and shadows and to bring order into the chaos. And I don’t like green landscapes. It was the first time that I shot a long exposure (60 sec.) using my big stopper in the woods. I saw the reflection of the light on this tree and the wind was shaking all these branches and leaves. I asked myself how to capture the motion. A video? A long exposure? I tried a long exposure and I think I will have to work on that technique for a while. But I like the idea and concept. I am convinced that only practice will help me to achieve better results. I did some intimate landscapes… but this will be another post. Thanks for your visit. See you soon. Happy days! Reinhold
After a long cold and gray winter we are all waiting for some green highlights in our landscapes. And for nature it is easy being green. Spring arrived and a good weather forecast for the weekend. Let’s green up our live!
