I captured this image last week with my workhorse, the Fuji X-T1 and processed it with my new Affinity Photo app for iPad. I like the strong contrast between the old roof tops of the Speicherstadt in the foreground and the modern roof top of the Elbphilharmonie. I was trying to avoid the typical touristic shot of these amazing places in Hamburg. Happy days. Reinhold
Gray, dull, cold and rainy weather… I needed some colours in my life. So I sat down and create some abstracts for me and you. Happy days. Reinhold
Still working my way into outdoor portrait photography. These are images of my 3rd shooting. K. booked my first paid shooting package.
One lesson I already learned. Equipment and technical skills are success factors. But the major factor is to convert uncertainty into confidence on both sides of the camera.
We spent over 2 hours in the castle garden in Oldenburg. I got the permission to use the „Tea Pavilion“ for the shoot. You can only access this old piece of architecture with the permission of the garden administration.
In the end we both were happy. K. with the results and I was happy to meet the expectations of my first „client“.
My new homepage is now live. If you like to check out more details about my portrait photography services please follow this link: reinholdstaden.com/portraits
Happy days, Reinhold
The Elbphilharmonie is a concert hall in the Hafen City quarter of Hamburg, Germany, on the Grasbrook peninsula of the Elbe River. It is one of the largest and most acoustically advanced concert halls in the world. After seeing thousands of similar shots I think this one is quiet unique.
