This morning at our lake. A fisherman is leaving the harbour heading towards the other side of the lake. No expensive camera. No prime lens. No time to think about composition. Just my iPhone. Capturing one moment in time. Happy days. Reinhold
After our morning walk in the rain, Boomer and I sat down on the sofa with a hot cup of tea and executed our daily morning exercise to create 16 logos in 1 hour using a brand name. Hedy Bach – Bach Creative commented my last post with her brand name yesterday. The 16 logos wouldn’t be final design choices. They would be used for a professional briefing session to include/exclude choices with my client. First step in a 4 step workflow. But that is not the point. I rather do my morning exercise with a real brand name rather than a fictional. So, thank you Hedy for joining. And hopefully there are some inspirations for your further branding. And check out here website and blog. Cool stuff. Happy days. Reinhold and Boomer.
PS: leave a comment with your brand name and the first two will be victims of me and Boomer who is actually sleeping at my side while I am working. A bit unfair. 😁
A few days ago I started an “early morning exercise”. After the morning walk with Boomer and breakfast, we both relax and I use my iPad and Affinity Designer to create 16 logo designs of a fictional brand. In this case (today) it is my brand name for my design work. Nothing spectacular, just exercise and adding to my skills. If you like such an “exercise” for your brand, just leave you brand name and business type in the comments. The first 3 requests will be part of my exercise this week. It is totally free and you can use all designs for your own purposes. Happy days. Reinhold and Boomer 🐶
Found this one in our garden today. Couldn’t easily find a composition that worked. Hope you like this closeup. Happy days. Reinhold
The days pass by… one like the other. Yesterday I was kind of bored 😑. So I sat down, took my iPad and started to create some graphic designs. Hope you like some. Today things are getting better. Stunning weather forecast for the next days.
Happy days. Reinhold & 🐶

“It’s weird that photographers spend years or even a whole lifetime, trying to capture moments that added together, don’t even amount to a couple of hours.”

A few hot days. > 30° C / 90° F. No rain.
The rain started last night. At 2 am. It rained the whole night.
When I got out this morning to shoot this image I was wet within minutes. Not because it was still raining. No… the rain had stopped. But humidity was extremely high.
I had to convince myself that it was okay to get wet feet and wet clothes. Next time I see Michelangelo I will have a word with him.
Happy days. Reinhold
This morning at our lake. No sound. No waves. No sailing boats. No tourists. Just this one fisher boat heading for the harbor. A bit of mist and fog in the distance. Quiet and peaceful. Tranquility.
Happy days. Reinhold
