Queen of the Lake
Most of the ice is gone…
Our frozen lake after 2 days of temperatures above the freezing point. Most of the ice is gone. We had a wonderful period of a few weeks with sunshine and cold weather and wind from the east. I used my Fuji X100 for all the images I captured because my Fuji X-T1 is in service. For nearly 5 weeks now. It is still in the shipment phase. For 1 week now. Left England and is on its way to Germany. Hopefully I will get my camera back before summer. 🙂 Happy days. Reinhold
Eagle Owl

After several days of cold feet and patience and 1 day before I had to return the X-T2 and the 100-400 lens, my wife spotted the eagle owl high in a tree looking down at us. Handheld is difficult at this angle and in the light conditions of a forest. But I managed to get some cool shots of this awesome owl.
We decided to call the owl “Theo”. Happy days. Reinhold

Sweet 4
I remember I promised this. Model shooting details from last year.
Last year I did my first shooting of 14 young Golden Retriever. The period to sell the images to their new owners is over now. These are my sweet 4 of the group. I hope I will have a second shoot this year. So much fun! Happy days. Reinhold

Tour: Dänikhorster Moor
Never tried to capture the Dänikhorster Moor (Entrance Area) as a whole. I shot 10-12 individual images of each location and created 4 panoramic images. To shoot about 40 images was quite a challenge in the short time frame of the sun rising. But everything worked out quiet well. Hope you will enjoy the “tour” of the moor. Happy days.

1 Location – 2 Images: #5 Windows to my soul

This post continues my series “1 Location – 2 Images”. Images have been taken in Frankfurt in the city center at the “Römer”. I was surprised how different the windows looked and felt, when I change the position to capture these images. Happy days. Reinhold

Listen to the music…
I bought a radio for our new home. I was so tired “talking” to my radio and to buy fancy features in another fancy device . So I bought luxus. A venus. A venus luxus. A Loewe Opta Venus Luxus tube radio. Built 1954. It was built in the same time I was born. Still working. 100%. Great sound. The sound of a tube radio and tube amplifier. Who ever played in a rock band (I did), knows what I mean. I listen now all day long to Radio Bremen 1. They play vintage rock. And guess what… I listen to the music. Happy days! Reinhold
All images taken yesterday with my Fuji X-T1 wearing my “Old guys rule” t-shirt while listening to this music.
